Thanks for the great review! I've run a handful of 5 & 10k races with the OG Deviate Elite, and absolutely love it. I've ran easy half distance in it too, the shoe is an absolute blast! Recently got the OG Deviate Nitro and found it to eat up tempo and easier long distance training runs brilliantly. Definitely getting these once I've burnt through a few pairs of shoes though haha Best of luck with the recovery. Keep 'er lit!

Did you give them there first run in that ten k or break them in before.

A shit shoe. The Powertape at the inside is causing pain and blisters after some miles. Would never buy it again.

I’m a big fan of the tempus, how does this compare to that shoe? Is it worth having both or shall I just stick with the tempus?

How about Matt from Doctors of running ... Super nice guy who might do a collab with you and also Sagasu ... His channel is quite new but hes extremely knowledgeable on all things running shoes and does some really comprehensive and deep dives into shoes.

If I didn't have a pair of Endo Pro 3's fall into my lap recently, I'd 100% be getting the Puma DNE V3 to perform the same tasks....only better.

Considering these, have been going with Adidas for all my shoes recently, but have never tried a running shoe with carbon rods or plate. Wondering if carbon would make a big difference compared to the non-carbon rods in the Boston 12s?

I’ve run twice in this shoe. Love it. Way more comfortable than any racing shoe I’ve run in. I feel like using it every day, but I won’t 😊

I wonder why everyone is still doing the granma knots where there are secure shoe lacing knots available that doesn't get undone as easily. Just google for it. There are some videos here as well. Extra lace is welcome for those sort of knots.

According to Mizuno designers (from the interview that Doctors of Running did), this is NOT supercritical EVA. It is some specially modified EVA (secret formula) but they were clear that it was not supercritical. I ran in this shoe in a demo run here and it is indeed very soft. Actually a bit too soft for me. Definitely needs that plate and deep midsole void to get some return. As the pace goes up, the midsole firms up a bit which increases the responsiveness (probably EVA foam is not having time to fully expand) I really like the upper and comfort of the shoe. I would like to get a pair at discount as a casual comfort shoe.

I would be great if you did a versus between SL2 and Mach 6.

I got a pair in the US, Adidas App for $100+tax after using the discount code that had on the app (SAVEMORE). It is on the way. Someone mentioned Endorphin Speed 1/2 type feel under foot. At this price, if it doesn't work, I can always use them as a causal or gym shoe but I have the feeling it will be a decent running shoe.

The scientific measurements says that every 100g extra weight subtracts 1% from running economy. In my opinion, there are only very few shoes that is heavy but compensate with the tech they offer (Prime X Strung OG for example) As a general rule, I prefer lighter shoes. I am sensitive to weight so shoes like Nimbus 25/26 doesn't work for me. Even Novablast 4 felt very bulky.

This shoe (VE2) might have contributed to your calf issues. The drop is reportedly very low. Like 1.5-2mm drop.

I think Saucony Triumph 22 could work for you as well. It is a PB foam but not as soft as in Endorphin Speed (or PWRRUN+ in previous version) and with the injury in your calf healing, the 10mm drop will reduce the loading on your calf.
